Hey! guess what?
I just found out that the expression "come hither" is an archaic way of saying "come here". I didn't know that!
Don't call me stupid! English is not my mother tongue!
Well, I'm sorry for disappointing you, but I just never took the time to try to find out what it meant exactly.
Why? Because I didn't need to know the precise meaning of every word in the phrase for me to know what it meant.
Well, for me "come hither" was always you.
You coming towards me with an exaggerated sway of your hips that's meant to make me laugh but that is undeniably sexy instead, and thus only ever manages to draw one small, shaky smile.
You looking at me through your eyelashes from the couch, where you lie irritably open, infuriatingly enticing.
You with your red high heels stabbing the asphalt, stomping on any little piece of self-control I may cling to when I'm near you.
You and your lip-stick and your mouth near my ear, making each sultry breath a torture. Sometimes, a challenge.
Don't tell me I don't know anything, I know quite a few things. If only just about you.
